Decluttering isn’t just for closets…

And just like that… it’s fall.

I felt the shift in the air back in late August, but I waited until the trees changed colour before starting my seasonal decluttering ritual.

Proof:

so pretty 😍
so pretty 😍

Every season I sort through what no longer fits, make little “goodbye” piles, thank the pieces that served their time, and send them off to a new home.

The space feels lighter, fresher, and so do I.

But you know, closets aren’t the only places that need decluttering.

Our minds can get just as stuffed:

👉 To-dos, stale emotions, unfinished projects, and those conversations you keep replaying… it piles up.

Just like the trees let go of their leaves, we’re meant to release what no longer belongs to us.

In Ayurveda (ancient system of holistic health and medicine that originated from India), this rhythm is honored through panchakarma, a seasonal cleanse that helps the body and mind shed their excess and make space for renewal.

Think of it as “decluttering your inner closet,” minus the donation bins.

One of my favorite parts of this practice is a guided meditation that helps relax the body, clear mental cobwebs, and reconnect with that fresh, alive energy we all have inside.

With the new moon coming up this Sunday, I’m offering a mini version of this practice.

Not the full cleanse, but a little taste to help you clear some mental clutter as we start a new season.

Think of it like opening a window in a stuffy room to bring in light and air and freshen up the space.

❤️,

Dr. Aliya

PS. We’ve been on the mental health track lately. It’s not all we do here, but in times like these it feels extra important right now.

PPS. Relaxation → the secret ingredient. Without it, the body can’t do its healing magic ✨.
