5 minutes to calm your mind

Ever had those thoughts that totally take over?
Like when you’re driving and have to slam on the brakes because you were so in your head you didn’t even notice the yellow light?
Or when your partner is telling you about their day and you suddenly realize you’ve completely zoned out… already halfway into planning tomorrow’s meeting.
Yep...been there.
The mind is brilliant, but it can also hijack us.
Sometimes, it’ll wake you up at 2am to debate very important topics like if cassava pancakes are a good idea on your new gluten free diet.
Which, honestly, unless you’re about to get up and make them, the answer can wait til morning.
Lots of spiritual practices teach that you have to stop or overcome the mind.
I see it a little differently.
Let the mind run - just don’t let it run the show.
I’m sure you’ve heard that before, but it’s not exactly easy to practice.
Which is why I’m running a free offering on Saturday showing you how.
It’s a daily, 5-minute practice called Nadi Shuddhi.
I learned it when I was doing my Yogic training in India and it has seriously changed my relationship to stress.
It’s a simple breathing practice that balances your energy pathways, steadies the nervous system, and calms your mind.
Come join me ✨ this Saturday Aug 23 at 8am PST / 11am EST (class is free)✨
You’ll walk away feeling:
clearer in your head, calmer in your body
less stuck in cycles of overthinking
more balanced and at ease throughout the day
🧠❤️,
Dr. Aliya
P.P.S If your brain is already making excuses not to come… that’s exactly why you should sign up 😉
