The Oyster's Lustre, and your chance for pearls.

I met a lovely couple on the beach this week, and the woman and I fell into this sweet little ritual of admiring oyster shells. Those dreamy colours and that subtle shimmer they keep, no matter what the tide drags them through.

As we sat on the sand with the ocean lapping at our feet, she sighed and said she wished she still had that kind of lustre.

Then she shared her story.

Early menopause.

Early retirement from her law career, years before she wanted to stop.

Not because she was “done” with work… but because her body was.

In her mid-40s she started feeling bone-deep fatigue, burnout, stiffness in her joints, and that creeping sense of “something’s off.”

She assumed it was her job draining her dry and decided to tap out early.

I see versions of this so often.

Women pushing so hard to “make it” in a culture built for chronic overdoing… with little space for nourishment, rhythm, or recovery.

Eventually the body taps out, and hormones, mood, digestion, and energy all start waving little SOS flags.

Like I told my new beach friend, none of this is a life sentence.

Your body can find its way back to spark, steadiness, and that inner glow that makes you feel like you again.

If any of this feels familiar, or if you’re not sure where to start with your own symptoms, I’ve got you. 👇

I’m hosting a free live session on Monday, December 1st at 4pm PST (7pm EST), where we’ll talk through:

• how to interpret your symptoms with more clarity

• the first steps to rebuilding your energy, digestion, and hormones

• and plenty of space for your questions...the good ones always show up

Think of it as a gentle, clarifying conversation to help you make sense of what your body’s been trying to tell you.

✨ If you missed the first one, this is your second chance to join live.

🦪,

Dr. Aliya

PS. If you know someone who could use a little pearl of wisdom about their hormones or digestion right now, invite them along. The more pearls, the better the necklace. 😉
